Bocchi Introduces New Fireclay Sink that Hits all the 2019 Kitchen Design Marks

Forte Farmhouse Apron-Front Sink Provides Oversized Roominess in a Slim Configuration

Bocchi USA is adding a new fireclay sink design to its collection of timeless sinks and accessories. The Forte apron-front sink boasts the oversized functionality that is topping homeowners’ kitchen wish lists in 2019 in a slim design that saves precious counterspace.

According to Sebring Design Build, one of the “6 Top Trends for Kitchen Countertop Design in 2019” is “Kitchen Sink Styles To Get Excited About.” The home remodeler/builder says,

“Elegant and modern styles of sinks are coming in hot this year and will be highly sought after. For example, farmhouse sinks, otherwise known as apron front sinks, are super trendy.” These high design and on-trend sinks are continuing to increase their position as the centerpiece of the kitchen.

Anticipating these trends, Bocchi is unveiling Forte, which features a slim profile and complex blend of natural materials that allows its wall thickness to be cut nearly in half versus traditional fireclay sinks. As a result, the interior basin size functionally increases to offer homeowners more room to maneuver pots and pans. How much more room? Forte provides roughly 15% to 20% more cubic volume than the average apron-front sink.

“Forte features all the oversized serviceability consumers are seeking without the bulky, countertop-depriving construction that so often comes along with similar roominess,” explains Akgun Seckiner, Bocchi’s Chief Executive Officer.

On top of that, the new Forte sink hits another 2019 kitchen design mark. Blending organic materials with aluminum, the Forte sink maintains the warmth and elegance of fireclay while adding the strength of metal. This increased strength allows for thinner walls that bring an updated look to the classic farmhouse sink everyone is craving this year.

Forte is available in all nine of Bocchi’s designer colors, including white, black and gray in both matte and glossy finishes as well as sapphire blue, biscuit and brown. Bocchi is a key sponsor of this year’s Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) this February in Las Vegas, where the Forte will be a featured product in Booth SL1463.
