Geberit Announces New 2" Cast Iron Waste for Easy Venting with In-Well SystemsGeberit North America recently announced the latest Cast Iron Waste Fitting option for its entire line of in-wall systems. The new fitting, model 367.072.18.1, is designed to put the installer first by reducing material and labor costs during installation. Installers, plumbers and contractors will find it easier and faster to install Geberit in-wall systems for multiple water closet configurations.

“We are excited to announce this new cast iron waste fitting,” says Ronn Jefferson, product manager for Geberit North America. “Its simpler venting saves time during installation in 2×6 or deeper cavity walls. The fitting is versatile and can be used in above-the-floor or through-the-floor waste installations; and, of course, it is proudly made in the USA.”

The new Cast Iron Waste Fitting is a 90° elbow with a 2˝ NPTF heel outlet for venting, a 3” (90 mm) inlet, a 3˝ (90mm) outlet with universal connections for flex couplings, lead-oakum or threaded joints.
