Geberit Introduces SIGMA21, The Latest in Customizable Actuators and Luxury Finishes

Geberit introduces a new flush actuator series, Sigma21, for their concealed tank and carrier systems. The new actuators provide designers and architects with finish choices not available from any other manufacturer. In addition to white, black and sand glass finishes, Sigma21 is available in genuine Brazilian slate, providing a transitional design motif that complements traditional as well as contemporary bathrooms. Sigma21 is also available with a customizable overlay that can be personalized to blend seamlessly with the wall or create a unique design statement.

“We’re pleased to introduce the striking new Sigma21 Series flush actuators,” says Ronn Jefferson, Geberit Product Manager. “Sigma21 features a frameless design, a durable die cast zinc base unit and can be used in 2×6 and 2×4 installations. Now designers and architects have even more options – more than any other manufacturer – to create a space that matches a customer’s unique style.”

The Sigma 21 flush plate is designed to operate reliably push after push, allow easy accessibility for maintenance and achieve maximum water savings when used in conjunction with Geberit dual-flush in-wall toilet tanks.

The Geberit system combined with a wall-hung toilet offers many advantages beyond aesthetics including more space, improved accessibility, better hygiene, real water savings, and superior reliability. Removing the toilet from the floor and suspending it from the wall makes cleaning easy. Plus, installing the toilet seat at a predetermined height — adjustable from 15 to 19 inches — makes it accessible and safe for children and family members with special needs. The system is strong and durable, supporting up to 880 lbs. (400 kg). When combined with the Geberit dual-flush plate — with a big button for standard flush (1.28–1.6 GPF/4.8–6 LPF) and a small button for low-volume flush (0.8 GPF/3 LPF) — a typical family can reduce water consumption by thousands of gallons per year, saving money and paying back the cost of the system over the course of its lifetime.

The Geberit Group is an integrated, global company and European leader in the field of sanitary products, headquartered in Switzerland. Geberit maintains a strong local presence on most continents, including North America, providing concealed systems for wall-hung and floor-mounted toilets and fixtures. Geberit systems improve the look of any bathroom by hiding unsightly plumbing hardware. Replacing a standard toilet with the Geberit system results in more usable space, improved hygiene and better accessibility. The unique dual-flush valve saves water and is practically maintenance free. Geberit also offers cable-controlled bath waste and overflows in a variety of designer finishes. Critical working parts are outside the waterway, ensuring years of trouble-free operation. With 35 production facilities and more than 12,000 employees in 49 countries, Geberit generated net sales of CHF 2.9 billion in 2017. Geberit shares are listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange; since 2012, the Geberit share has been included in the SMI (Swiss Market Index).
