The ICV Defender™ valve is a spring actuated integral check valve engineered to address cross connection-contamination and manufactured to McGuire’s heavy pattern angle stop valve specification. It is completely serviceable and requires no third-party components.

The new valve was designed to be an effective solution as a last line of defense against reverse flow and cross-connection contamination that results in harmful bacteria known to contaminate water systems. Patent pending, the valve is IAPMO and NSF/ANSI 61 & 372 certified.
