A T&S Brass sensor faucet specially designed for retrofits has been named to the Innovation Showcase of the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI) The Americas.
The Innovation Showcase recognizes manufacturers who demonstrate a commitment to research and development with an innovative product that is a clear leap forward for the foodservice industry. T&S’ newly introduced EC-3105 sensor faucet is one of 10 products to be recognized.
The EC-3105 sensor faucet is designed for two-hole, wall mount sink applications. Whereas most sensor faucets are installed via a single mounting shank suitable for one-hole or three-hole applications, the EC-3105 family of faucets features specially designed mounting hardware that fits two-hole applications. This configuration allows operators to easily replace wall-mounted manual faucets with efficient, hygienic sensor faucets without the need to alter existing holes.
“T&S designed this unique faucet with the needs of the industry in mind. We often encountered operators who wanted to upgrade to sensor faucets, but there wasn’t a product available that let them retrofit a two-hole installation without a larger investment in reconfiguring their sinks,” said David Scelsi, T&S’ marketing product manager.
“We make it our goal to provide innovative solutions to our customers’ problems, and we’re honored that the EC-3105 has received this recognition.”
A similar product, the EC-3104, offers the same solution for deck-mounted applications.
The products chosen for the Innovation Showcase will be on display during the FCSI The Americas Denver Conference April 19-21, and one product will be selected at the conference to receive the FCSI Product of the Year award.
